Heartfelt and Homemade: Teacup Bird Feeder
I think that this teacup bird feeder is just darling. It is delicate, beautiful to look at, and serves a wonderful purpose to our outdoor flying friends. This is sure to be a hit amongst your recipients!
A teacup and saucer
E6000 glass glue
Ribbon or twine
Birdseed
Step 1:
Find a beautiful teacup and saucer from a local thrift store or donation center. Wash and remove any tags.
Step 2:
Take your E6000 glue and glue cup onto the saucer with the handle facing upright. This can get tricky when trying to have the glue take hold. I put a small, heavy object in the center of my cup as I allowed it to dry to hold it down. It takes 24-48 hours for the glue to fully dry.
Step 3:
Lace a pretty ribbon or burlap twine through the handle and tie off at the end.
Step 4:
Buy a small bag of birdseed to go along with your teacup bird feeder for your lucky person receiving this!
